About us

Eleanor Strang BSc NT Dip ION mBANT CNHC

Eleanor is passionate about helping people understand the importance of good nutrition, and to use that understanding to optimise their health and well-being.
Having always loved food and cooking, Eleanor decided to turn her hobby into a profession, and qualified first with the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London before completing a BSc in Nutritional Medicine at The University of West London, both courses employing the Functional Medicine model.
“It never ceases to amaze me how small changes in the diet can make big differences to health”
Today, Eleanor supports a wide range of clients who are either referred by medical practitioners or come to the practice direct. By taking the time to listen, asking the right questions and learning about current lifestyle and diet choices, Eleanor can suggest changes that are designed to make a real difference.
Eleanor is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), an associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine, ‘Food and Behaviour Research’ and is registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Eleanor is registered as a ‘MapMyGut’ practitioner, which is adding to the body of research on the gut microbiome, through stool testing available to the public, which analyses an individual’s gut bacteria.  This can be organised through their website: mapmygut.com
